Statement of Faith

The Bible ~ The Scriptures are God’s inspired and infallible Word, the basis of all truth and the essential guide for faith and godly living.

Faith ~ It pleases God for us to trust and act upon His promises, knowing that He will bless more than we could ask or imagine.

Salvation ~ Man without Christ is spiritually dead and without eternal hope. We believe that the only spiritual hope for man is to personally trust that Jesus came to this earth, lived a perfect life, was crucified for sin, and rose from the dead to defeat sin and death. By the grace of God through repentance and faith alone, a person becomes an eternal child of God our Father.

Deity of Christ ~ Jesus Christ is the Son of God and only Savior of all mankind. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory to judge the world and be glorified in the whole earth.

The Holy Spirit ~ The Holy Spirit inspires and empowers the obedience, holy living, and passion for the glory of God which His Word commands.

Holy Trinity ~ We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Unity of the Body ~ We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer ~ We believe that prayer is a vital communcation link with God to offer praise, confess sin, unleash power, seek guidance, come under His protection, and receive blessings. We exalt God through prayer, engage believers in prayer, equip them in the disciplines of prayer, enlist them in the ministry of prayer, and encourage them to daily stand in faith in their authority in prayer.

The Bottom Line ~ “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” (John 6:68).
